:)this is the one I was looking at is it any good I want something refurbished. All eclipse predictions were generated on an Apple Power Mac G4 computer using.Oh, I always have the time for PowerBooks. The third generation Moto G was where Motorola provided a significant increase in performance, while also bumping up battery life and adding unique features like water resistance. To disable automatic registration, use the no form of this command. Is A G4 Any Good For 2015 Update Like The The second generation saw an increase in the display size, but in all other respects it was the same phone as the original.
![]() ![]() Is A G4 Any Good For 2015 Mac G4 ComputerStill, it's rather better than Panther. )I agree, it's a good idea to use the version of OS X that shipped with the computer, in this case that would be Tiger. The problem is that with Tiger, it's quite usable but you really want more RAM as soon as you start doing anything interesting. I did, however, feel compelled to follow up in kind. You could perhaps try Debian, which is stable, proven, (generally) lightweight, and will be easy to work with if you played around with the command line in Ubuntu.Hell yes it's a contradiction in terms. There are about 2-3 browsers left supporting it.You have OmniWeb which is a Webkit browser. As OP has now suggested actually buying more RAM, I'm now in agreement with your position, as noted below.First thing is I'd upgrade ram, at least put a gig in there.Tiger is very fast but software support is dwindling. I'm merely saying that 256MB RAM and OS X is a terrible combination.Either of those variables can be changed, the easier one to change is the operating system with regards to expenditure. I had trouble with /Puma/ (remember that?) under 256MB of RAM. They sort of fell off the face of the planet recently but are getting back to shipping a great browser!I'd try them all out, find out which one responds better and which one suits your needs. I've learned to get used to it just because of it's tremendous speed. There is also TenFourFox, a newer project that basically puts the most recent version of Firefox on the PowerPC, it's pretty highly regarded but it's a bit slow on my PowerPC Macs though you'll fair a lot better on your 1.5ghz G4 then my 400mhz G3! The real upside to TenFourFox is that it's the most frequently updated browser. The new beta of Camino is out and it's pretty damn solid, it's also based on Gecko (like Firefox) and it's a bit more lightweight and faster than TenFourFox. For example there is no tab bar, there is a tab thing that comes out on the right side. The only downside is the UI is a bit odd. Mac storage full for no reason dropboxI'm pretty certain both Omniweb and Camino have that as a built in option but you'll need to get an extension for TenFourFox.
